Biography

Dr. Phillip Kaner and Dr. Pedro Alquizar are two of the best south Miami orthodontists around. They have more than 50 years of combined experience. Dr. Kaner went into practice in 1972 after graduating with honors from the Medical College of Virginia. He was the only person in his graduating class who was selected for the orthodontics specialty program at the college. Dr. Kaner has been an active member of the craniofacial and cleft palate team at Miami Children’s Hospital since 1974 and very involved in his community. Dr. Alquizar started practicing as an orthodontist in south Miami after graduating from Harvard University where he obtained multiple honors. He is a dentofacial orthopedic and orthodontic treatment specialist and treats children and adults who are looking for a south Miami braces provider.
