Staying On Top Of Your Game: The Necessity of CMO Development

CMO Club Founder Pete Krainik will address the necessity of Chief Marketing Officers staying connected, motivated and relevant in their careers, all with the help of their fellow CMOs. In terms of furthering their industry expertise and career development, this can best be achieved by leveraging the access, insight and power of an engaged group of CMOs. To this end, industry workshops & summits are important to not only educate members but also inspire them based on the expertise of their peers.

Parallel "R" Us: Aligning Marketing and PR

One of the most common challenges discussed by CMOs is the changing approach and difficulty in effective PR and Corporate Communications vs. a few years ago. The explosion of social networks, active brand advocates (and detractors), plus the shift to influential bloggers from traditional media outlets, is causing uncertainty and anxiety. The potential of an increasing misalignment between Marketing and PR/Corporate Communications will be addressed, as will solutions for consistency in messaging.
