Athletic Highlights: Coach Blount is a member of the Florida Track and Field Hall of Fame and was a standout Track and Field athlete at the University of Florida, Nike Elite Track, US National Team in (Miami, San Juan and Havana) and was a member of the United States World Cup Bobsled Team with Herschel Walker and Edwin Moses.

Coaching Experience: Brevard CC, Melbourne High School, University of Central Florida Track Club, Oak Ridge High School, U.S. Junior National Team, Satellite High School, and Dr. Phillips High School. Coached Satellite High School to State Championships in 2005, 2006 and 2007 as well as a State Runner-up finish in 2008...also coached the Track and Field Team to a top 5 State finish. He also led Dr. Phillips High School team to a State Runner-up finish in 2010, and both Track teams to top 7 finishes. Coach Blount has trained many professional athletes including Brandon Meriweather of the Washington Redskins among others.
