Peter Mahler brings more than 20 years of insurance experience and a deep understanding of risks houses of worship face. Peter’s knowledge of business insurance trends makes him a valuable asset and resource for houses of worship and religious schools. For more than a decade, he has worked with the Church Mutual Insurance Company, S.I., Underwriting Department. He currently serves as vice president of Religious Markets Underwriting.

Peter earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in business management from Ripon College in Ripon, Wisconsin, in 1997, and his MBA from the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh in 2005. He earned his Associate in Insurance Services (AIS), Associate in Commercial Underwriting (AU) and Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designations in 2001. He earned his Associate in Risk Management (ARM) in 2008, and his Associate in Risk Management – ERM (ARM-E) in 2015.

Peter is a member of the CPCU Society Northern Wisconsin Chapter and has held various roles of responsibility in the chapter, including president and vice president.
