Rajiv Poddar is a Research Analyst with the North America Distribution Tracker (NADT) team. He is responsible for analysis of the wide breadth of consumer hardware products sold through 2-Tier distribution focusing on developing the taxonomy of product categorization and model attribute coverage that highlights key drivers for sales trends.
In his former IDC role, Rajiv worked for the IDC Market Insights and Analytics team in Canada. He was responsible for IDC Spending Guides, IDC's Canadian Market Model, Canadian Tech Wallet, Services Contract Database, and various consulting projects.
Prior to returning to IDC, Rajiv worked for Deloitte Canada and IHS Markit. And during his work at IDC India, he oversaw the IDC Services Contract Database.
Rajiv is experienced with market intelligence, business intelligence, competitive analysis, data visualization, and forecasting. He holds an MBA degree in Marketing from Alliance University (India), and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics & Telecom from the C. V. Raman Global University (India)
