Biography
Honored among her peers, Columbus Business First selected Rebecca as one of 2013’s Forty Under 40 list of rising business stars. Her blog, Pretty Little Celiac won WEGO Health's online health activist award for Rookie of the Year 2012. As a motivator and role model, Rebecca has a unique connection with her audience that stems from her own personal journey toward wellness. Before becoming a fitness expert, Rebecca struggled with her own weight and self-esteem. She was determined to reach her goals — and through dedication and hard work, she did. After suffering from health complications for 17 years, Rebecca was finally diagnosed with Celiac disease in January 2012 and has made it her mission to spread awareness of the disease. Her blog, “Pretty Little Celiac” was born September 1, 2012 and unexpectedly took the internet by storm. In less than 8 months, the blog hit 100,000 page views and the gluten-free community started to take notice. Rebecca is now a regular speaker with the Celiac Awareness Tour and was asked to speak at the Kroger Natural Foods Summit to help them build better gluten-free shopping experiences for their guests. She has been a featured guest blogger at the Gluten-Free and Allergen-Free Expo and will attend Natural Products Expo East in September 2013.
TV, Magazines, newspapers, radio — Rebecca has them all covered. Rebecca made various TV appearances touting her fitness expertise, including NBC4 Daytime Columbus with Gail Hogan, Good Day Columbus Fox 28, WBNS 10TV morning news and as a fitness consultant to We Decorate Columbus. Rebecca was interviewed as the featured expert in Oxygen Magazine, WellBella.com, Weight Watchers, Self.com and 11Athletics, which has continued to broaden her brand in Columbus and across the country. Rebecca has been a featured fitness contributor to online newspapers The Examiner and NuLifestyle and was World Physique Magazine’s “Rising Star” in their April 2011 issue.

Mike Hodge, Manager Central Marketing Area | Kroger Natural Food Summit
Rebecca did a fantastic job explaining celiac disease and gluten free living to our natural foods managers. She was entertaining and was able to clearly explain a sensitive subject without offending the summit participants. Her talk was timely and engaging, which is exactly what we were looking for in a speaker. We look forward to working with Rebecca again.
ADRIAN SOLOMONIDES, DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS & HUMAN RESOURCES | Artina Promotional Products Wellness Event
