Heather Kere Quelleng, Equity Advocate & Educator | Ryerson University
Ricardo was an invaluable panelist that I specifically targeted for a session on startups and entrepreneurs. In working with Ricardo, I was further exposed to his in-depth knowledge of entrepreneurship, diverse experiences and high-level professionalism. Most of the feedback from the event highlighted insights that Ricardo spoke about, demonstrating his ability to speak and appeal to diverse audiences. It was an absolute pleasure working with Ricardo and I look forward to having him back on the Ryerson University campus.
Sep Pashang PhDc, CSM, Agile Project Manager | Speaker Coach | TEDx UW
As an executive at TEDxUW, my role was to search for exceptional speakers in Canada who could share wisdom, challenge conventional ideas, and create dialogue related to our conference theme: collaboration. Ricardo and Gloria were the first duo I thought of and approached as I've always been drawn to their ideas that promote innovation in strategy, branding, and community projects. Working with them on their TED Talk was a real treat as they were ambitious to push the envelope and cross multiple boundaries. They are true collaborators when considering business, love, and friendships. So for me, it was a no brainer to invite them to speak at TEDxUW.
Andi Argast, Policy Advisor, Office of the Minister at Ontario Ministry of Research, Innovation and Science | Framework Foundation
Ricardo gave an insightful and entertaining talk about momentum building and social change at at our Take Back Your Tech event. His presentation was both practical - full of useful advice for the audience of nonprofit organizations - and inspiring as he shared a story about how much one can do with few resources and a lot of motivation. Ricardo was also approachable and engaging throughout the Q&A with the audience and I’d happily recommend him for any speaking engagement.

Sex, Advertising & Social Media

Are these Ads too racy for an exhibit about sex at Vancouver Science World? They were pulled from outdoor bus shelters after some people and mostly media complained about them being inappropriate. Was this a good campaign or a publicity stunt?
