Based in Barcelona, Richard is Business Development Director for EMEA at Golden Gekko, a leading developer of mobile applications. Richard joined Golden Gekko following a two-year stint at GeoMe, an LBS start-up which he co-founded in 2008. He was formerly with the GSM Association as Program Director, chairing the Technology Showcase Committee for the Mobile World Congress and establishing the Barcelona.mobi project with the dot.mobi consortium. Richard has a successful mobile technology blog with over 100,000 readers which is included in the official Mobile Monday Bloghive and W3C Mobile Web Initiative Blog. He has specific expertise in Location Based and Location-Aware Services, Mobile App Marketing, Social Media, Privacy Management and Mobile Web and App Monetisation Strategies.
