Richard has worked in a variety of roles, as well as volunteering with a range of charities. This has resulted in a range of experience and knowledge, from banking law and financial analysis to the practical skills of raising funds and delivering projects with volunteers.
During his time with CAF, Richard has been deeply involved in developing our lending proposition, working with a range of clients and industries to develop understanding and solutions. In many cases this has involved thinking outside of the box to understand the underlying drivers for both our client and CAF. Richard’s career included a special needs school, delivering financial management & capital projects; as well as a major bank, including experiences ranging from commercial & branch management to projects within ecommerce. Outside of work, Richard has undertaken a number of charitable roles. As a volunteer, Richard has both run & created events, developed new ways of working and run multi-disciplinary teams. As a trustee, he has worked with a number of local charities; developing financial and organizational resilience, whilst still being focussed on delivering to mission.
