Biography
Richard Kerr Bell is currently the Guidance Counsellor at Kaikorai Valley College. He has a background in counselling, teaching, theology and management. He has a keen interest in sports coaching, writing, film, leadership, practices of highly successful organisations, and Maori achievement and Engagement in Society. His involvement in the Community is diverse – from Chairperson of the Southern Maori Business Network, Assessor for APL at Otago Polytechnic, Marriage Preparation Programmes, Member of the Green Island Football Club, MBTI Facilitator, Chaplain for Maori (Dunedin Diocese) and cultural supervision consultant. He has written two books “Enjoy Your Life”and "A God of Love", his third, "Whakarongo Tautoko, Partnering with Maori Towards Wellness in the Health and Social Sector" is currently under way.
Of Ngapuhi descent Richard is passionate about people and their development in all areas of life.
