Biography

A 1987 Graduate of the Central Michigan University Hospital Administration program and 1992 graduate of Ohio State University’s Hospital Administration Executive program, Rick Ament has led in the healthcare field for more than twenty years. During this time, he has proven himself a very effective executive and change agent. The efforts of Rick Ament have been recognized with various national awards and honors, including the ACHE Regent's Award (Young Healthcare Executive of the Year) in 1996.

Over the course of his career, Rick has driven team development, strategic planning, service excellence and operational excellence initiatives throughout the industry. As a consequence, under his leadership, healthcare entities have experienced financial, operational, and organizational turnarounds. When he served at the helm of the Bay Area Medical Center, it earned the designation, "Turnaround Hospital of the Year."

Mr. Ament currently serves as the President and CEO of Beacon Leadership Group, Beacon Commercial Finance and Beacon Healthcare Finance. In these roles, Mr. Ament and his team, help organizations gain access to commercial finance solutions designed to meet their specific needs.
