-Indiana State Park naturalist
-studied, taught, toured, performed in eight countries.
-NSF & NDEA summer grants in U.S. colleges; Fulbright Grant to Turkey; I.U. Library Grant to University of Oslo (summer).
-Professional woodwind musician (local symphonies, chamber music, German bands, dance bands and novelty duo).
-Researcher into paranormal phenomena and believer psychology (as skeptic). Ph.D.
