Biography
Ruben A. Gely is an accredited insurance professional, leader and strategist. Also specialist in Puerto Rico captive insurance and proud humanitarian worker for drug addicts and homeless in San Juan.
As an advocate for Puerto Rico captive insurance, Ruben co-founded PRcaptives an initiative to promote the island’s domicile benefits and facilitate entrance of new investments. This initiative has successfully positioned Puerto Rico legislation across the world, including the U.S., Singapore, London, New Zealand, Australia, Brazil and Panama.
Apart from his involvement in the insurance sector, Ruben is committed to his community by participating as leader member in a christian program devoted to providing food and other essentials to chronic drug users and homeless in Rio Piedras, San Juan.
Ruben’s goal is to position Puerto Rico globally as an ideal business center for captive insurance companies while serving as pioneer to new areas of development in the island.
