Simplify Your Life

Starting a company, raising over $100,000 for charity, having a baby, traveling the US as part of a business competition - any of these happening in one year is a lot. So how did Sam Davidson do all of these and still keep life simple? In this informative and energetic talk, Davidson will share the key principles from his newest book, Simplify Your Life: How to de-clutter and de-stress your way to happiness. Using tips from experts, the latest research, and ideas from people around the world, Davidson shows how anyone can live a simpler life in order to discover what's truly important. If you’re looking to better prioritize your life in order to stay balanced and happy, all by finding how to make things simpler and easier to manage, then this talk will offer helpful ideas for doing so.

How to Save the World in 24 Hours

Building upon the themes and lessons of his first book, New Day Revolution: How to Save the World in 24 Hours, Sam Davidson offers valuable insights for those who have the ambitious and audacious goal of making the world a better place. Beginning with the notion of a dream, Davidson offers practical and inspiring lessons for anyone looking to change the status quo. He sheds light on how to build a coalition of supporters, how to motivate others to follow, and how to do something so remarkably well that you can achieve real results towards an important social goal. Energetic, humorous, and uplifting, Davidson borrows examples from the worlds of art, leadership, entrepreneurship, and storytelling. Listeners are left comforted, challenged, and motivated to continue pursuing their dreams of creating a better world.

The Fountain of Youth - Communicating With Generation Y

The largest generation to come along since the Baby Boomers, Generation Y (also known as Millennials) are proving they are a force to be reckoned with. Controlling billions of dollars in spending (and donating) power, how your organization appeals to this generation has long-term implications for your fundraising success - not to mention your volunteer recruitment efforts. But what messages best resonate with this generation? And how can you get your organization in front a generation that seems distracted, entitled, and always connected? In this workshop, Sam Davidson will highlight the defining characteristics of Generation Y, proven methods to reach them, and why if you’re not thinking about how to reach this group of 75 million people, you’re missing out.
