Biography

Samantha is a highly regarded speaker and trainer, having trained over 2500 leaders from 36 countries. Clients describe her as dynamic, engaging, and fun with a high-energy and enthusiastic approach.

She founded Empower Global, a training firm focused on 21st century leadership, and teaches The Women's Leadership Challenge, a program for ambitious and socially conscious women leaders.

She is a facilitator for the NeuroLeadership Institute.

Samantha previously worked for the US Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in senior roles for venture backed tech startups, as head of global engagement for Ashoka, and as the Director of a rare disease research foundation.

Samantha received a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy with a focus on global gender analysis and conflict resolution from The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy. She has also studied at Yale University, the Harvard School of Education, and the Harvard Kennedy School. She has lived in Bosnia, Spain, South Africa, Peru, Costa Rica, and the Czech Republic, and has traveled to over 50 countries.

She is a TedX speaker and is working on a book about 21st century leadership, for which she has received the Rockefeller Foundation’s prestigious Bellagio fellowship.
