Sanjay Sharma has over Twenty years of Global experience in Supply Chain, Information Technology and Project Management. Sanjay Sharma has managed backend Sourcing and Procurement operations for large retailers in European, Far East & Australia. He led procurement operations for a large industrial goods manufacturing organisation. Sanjay was instrumental in bringing best practices, policies and procedures which led to multi-million dollar procurement of goods and services. Sanjay pioneered outsourcing for global businesses. He leads projects on automation and deployment of latest information technology to bring further cost efficiencies and reducing dependencies.
Sanjay has articles published in business magazines and publications on the subjects of procurement, supply chain and project management. As the President & Member of Board of Directors for Global Sourcing Council, Sanjay provides directives for best practice on On-Shoring, Near Shoring & Off-Shoring and Sustainable Sourcing. As President for of Global Sourcing Council, he is actively promoting best Global practices in procurement and sourcing for goods and services. Sanjay is Professor/Instructor for Project Management subjects at Sheridan College at Oakville/Brampton Campuses. Sanjay is a regular speaker at events e.g. Federated press of Canada, PMI Lakeshore Chapter etc.
Sanjay educates Middle and Senior level Non Project Management Professionals on adopting PMI (Project Management Institute) methodologies for greater successes for themselves and for their organisations. Sanjay holds PMP certification from PMI, Purchasing Certification from PMAC. Sanjay leads educational and professional consultancy in Supply Chain and Project Management fields.
