Biography
My personal mission is to provide walking ability to disabled patients. My experience in the physical therapy field illustrated the lack of access to daily rehabilitation care for people with mobility impairments. Following this realization, I surrounded myself with a talented team of engineers to reproduce my physical therapy treatments remotely, aided by AI. Ora Medical now continues to grow and help revolutionize physical rehabilitation practices in an ever-changing digital world.

It also helps substitute for what’s missing when it comes to treatment. That’s part of the goal of the data-driven equipment, according to Ora Medical co-founder Sarah Lambert. The idea is to provide more access to walking assistance tools and help patients get rehabilitation in their own home. Levity also comes with a mobile app to allow the patient and physiotherapist monitor progress and make adjustments if needed. “We really help get patients back to walking,” said Lambert, a former physiotherapist who is now an engineer. It also gives them the ability to do other tasks while upright, such as cooking or playing.
