Biography

Scott Agostoni has worked as a talent representative, media executive, manager and consultant for features, television, graphic novels, animation and video game creators and publishers for the past twenty-three years.

He has been running his own management and consulting practice for the past fourteen years with a focus on scripted content, animation and video game development and has also been serving as an in-house consultant and Senior Vice President of Development, Production and Business Development for Dick Cook Studios – a family entertainment film, television and new media production and distribution company established by the former Chairman of Walt Disney Studios.

Prior to that, he spent nine years as a talent agent at the William Morris Agency and later William Morris Endeavor (WME) specializing initially in unscripted development before transitioning into the fields of graphic novel creation, comic books, animation and video games for feature, television and digital development.

During his tenure at William Morris and WME, he created and ran the Graphic Novel Department as a focused area that interacted with all the various divisions within the agency. This included the Motion Picture and Television departments.

Agostoni has also served as Interim Director of Industry Relations and as a Visiting Professor and Lecturer of Master and Creative Producing as well as the Business of Entertainment within the School of Film and Television at Loyal Marymount University for the past two years and as an Instructor within the Entertainment Studies Department at UCLA Extension for the past eight years and holds an MBA from Duquesne University and a Master of Arts Management from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh. He relocated in 2001 from his hometown of Pittsburgh to Los Angeles to work in the entertainment industry.
