I am a web developer with one foot in the tech world, and one foot in the book business. I currently guide authors, publishers, non-profits and mission-driven businesses to web solutions that make sense for the way my clients work. Sonnet Media specializes in custom, thoughtfully designed web sites powered by state-of-the-art content management systems. Sonnet Media also provides a complete social media solution, including set-up, message coaching and follower acquisition.
At Your Expert Nation, I advise clients on web development, social media, independent bookselling and the retail marketplace for books.
As a publisher's sales representative, I enjoyed a long career selling trade and academic publishing to independent booksellers, jobbers, small chains, specialty resellers and museum shops. At Tower Records/Video/Books I learned about every side of content retailing, and became an accomplished handseller and book buyer.
