Biography
Shana Habel, MA, is a K-12 Arts Specialist for the Los Angeles Unified School District. She has taught dance at the elementary, secondary, and post-secondary levels for many years and currently supervises and supports K-12 dance teachers and programming in LAUSD. Shana is a past-president of the California Dance Education Association and served as a member of the National Coalition for Core Arts Standards writing team in Dance. Shana received a BA in Dance from BYU, an MA in Dance History from the University of Utah and is a Master Practitioner in the Language of Dance®.
