In everything Stephen does he believes in thinking differently and questioning the status quo.
Since childhood, he has had a fascination with how things work. It was with great enthusiasm and interest he disassembled everything he could get his hands on, much to his parents dismay.
This passion to understand, simplify and improve things never waned. It was with this outlook Stephen formed his first company in the early eighties. It focused on the newly emerging market for IT, custom authored business applications, children's educational software and graphic user interfaces (GUI).
Looking to take on fresh challenges he accepted an offer to join the Royal Bank of Canada's Chief Inspectors Department. There he was exposed to strategic planning, project management, business and banking relationships on a global scale. Stephen had an epiphany to what his life was leading up to. There was a huge, untapped, potential to improve business and people’s lives with design & innovation.
This knowledgeable, savvy, big picture thinker, thrives on finding emerging opportunities and making a difference by bringing deceptively simple, strategically brilliant ideas to life. Stephen knows how to Nail It.
