Biography

Steven Huege is the Swank Foundation Endowed Chair in Memory Care and Geriatrics at the Swank Memory Center and is an Affiliated Professor in the Department of Kinesiology and Applied Physiology of the College of Health Science at the University of Delaware. Prior to joining ChristianaCare in 2024, he was an HS Clinical Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at University of California San Diego School of Medicine. At UCSD, he served as the Geriatric Psychiatry Fellowship Program Director and was Director of Wellness for Graduate Medical Education for UCSD School of Medicine. Dr. Huege completed his general psychiatry residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and geriatric psychiatry fellowship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. From 2008-2016, he was an Assistant Professor at Perelman School of Medicine.
