Data Integration on the DX Platform
IDCStewart Bond
Jan 2018 This IDC Perspective discusses data integration on the digital transformation (DX) platform. "Digital transformation is changing data integration — batch data integration is being replaced by real-time streaming and federation with a new focus on data integrity and intelligence as organizations move to govern, manage, and protect their most valuable assets for DX," says Stewart Bond, director of Data Integration and Integrity research at IDC. "Organizations have an opportunity to leverage innovations coming from the data integration and integrity (DII) software market to meet the business demands of data on the DX platform, while at the same time exercising caution by diligently testing within the constraints and scale of DX initiatives, and increasing opportunities for success."
