Suzanne McKann, PhD, is "a lifelong learner" who currently teaches Infant & Early Childhood Development at Fielding Graduate University in the School of Leadership Studies. She also maintains a private practice and pursues her research.

With a long history in education, qualitative research, neuropsychology, clinical services, and cognitive behavior therapy, Dr. McKann has in recent years combined experience and training, to write and speak on breakthrough topics such as the stresses of immigrant parenting; grandparenting and cultural transmission; grandmothers in multigenerational households; and mid- to late-life adult issues.

Dr. McKann claims the opportunities fostered through the Fielding Graduate University Clinical Neuropsychology Certificate Program and the PhD Clinical Psychology Program have been transformative. She passes on her experience, serving as a valued mentor to graduate students at Fielding.
