Biography
Therese Edwards has served the small- and medium-sized business community as a communications strategist since 2002, connecting localized organizations with premier services and products usually reserved for Fortune 500 institutions. Together with her team of professionals, Edwards offers strategy on public relations; social media messaging and management; marketing and advertising; funnels; SEO; client experience; employee skill development; organizational communication and more.
The former associate director of forensics for LMU, she relies heavily on her experience as an award-winning debater, frequently utilizing contemporary rhetorical theory to shape client strategy.
In the classroom, you'll find her deeply engaging students with practical applications of coursework. Her students frequently have the opportunity to produce work for local businesses and organizations during the semester, developing essential career/client management skills and building their list of professional contacts.
Therese is the proud mother to four of "the most beloved children on the planet," two treasured cats and one yappy - but cute - rescue pup.
When she's not coaching, consulting, strategizing or teaching, she's playing, hiking or adventuring with her kids - or taking a nervous-system healing walk in her Pasadena neighborhood.
