Biography

Tierra Filhiol is a social entrepreneur working to increase the number of women building and running high-growth, high-impact companies. She earned both a Bachelor of Arts degree and participated in the Program in Entrepreneurship at the University of Michigan. Currently, Tierra is working on her startup AskLLab, a platform and initiative for gen-y, entrepreneurial women.

Tierra is an advocate for leadership diversity, often speaking on the professional advancement of millennial women. She consults with organizations on diversifying their conference panels and audiences. Tierra is also a board member for the Detroit Young Professionals and participates in a host of leadership, startup and technology based initiatives.

An avid networker, she loves any combination of food, wine, travel, design and most importantly, innovative people.
