Biography
Tolulope is a visiting assistant professor of political science at Loyola Marymount University. He received his PhD in political science at the University of Southern California and a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from California State University, Fullerton. Tolulope is primarily interested in the relationship between Black ethnic politics in the United States and their European and Euro-American colonial heritage. His secondary research interest examines how punitiveness and political representation shape racial and criminal (in)justice policies. Outside of work, Tolulope enjoys hiking, trying new recipes, and writing short stories.
