I love telling stories that can change lives. I tell stories from the stage, in offices and workplaces, schools and theatres. I also tell stories through film.
I am an award winning filmmaker who once founded and ran an International Film Festival all about nourishing films. As I had to raise the money, the profile and the interest I had to become a brilliant storyteller and find in me a talent to communicate vision. The festival was hugely successful and propelled me into the public eye when ABC Australian Story made a documentary "Let there Be LIght" about me and aired it nationally.
I developed an interest in gratitude when my life took a terrible nosedive and gratitude was the 'wonder drug' that saved me
For the last few years my time has been spent on Gratitude research for a documentary film I am making on the subject, speaking about gratitude & travelling the world interviewing leaders in the fields of gratitude, neuroplasticity, psychology and happiness.
Gratitude is an amazingly powerful practice – I want everyone to know! I am also interested in, and speaking on building better marriages and relationships through gratitude and also the words we say and the words we tell ourselves.
During my life I have run businesses, events, seminars and, occasionally, into trouble. I like to listen to music, change the world, read in bed and get to know people. Most of all I love to tell inspiring stories.

Andrew Fisher, Head of HR | BHP Billiton Metallurgical Coal
“Excellent, Inspired, loved it. Exactly the wake up call I need as a husband and father and corporate leader. I want to ‘infect’ our business with gratitude.”
Michael Rosengren, Asset President | BHP Billiton Metalurgical Coal (bmc)
“Was not a marketing or selling of a concept, it was a palette, a brush and paint and the choice to do something. Very personal, humbling and thought provoking. A smorgasboard of real life, relatable concepts and ideas but underpinned by science.”
And asked about the effect in the workplace: "Frankly amazing."
Kristi Taylor, BMC HR | BHP Billiton Metallurgical Coal
“This couldn’t have come at a better time for me. I was towards the end of a 2 year work project, working long hours, feeling pretty unappreciated both at work and at home, very flat. Overnight I felt a weight had been lifted. The next morning after the workshop I woke up feeling blessed to work for a company that could provide me with such opportunity and challenges, feeling lucky to be able to be involved at a level where I was making a difference. All of the things that I previously thought were hard work or frustrating became blessings. It was truly remarkable.”
Rod Hopping, CEO | Heritage HM film distribution
“Its easy to come to work each day with a clock in, clock out mentality. The focus on being grateful I believe has resulted in a deeper level of care and passion for what we do, for our customers and for our products. I guess its best summed up for me when I look at the enthusiasm levels since the seminar and there has been a noticeable increase.”
Marilyn Bradford,, Divisional Administrator | University of Alberta.
”I would love to have made it mandatory for all my staff.”
Petrea King , Founder | Quest for Life
“If this workshop was given in primary schools there would be world peace.”
