Biography
Tracy Sayuki Tiemeier is Professor of Theological Studies at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, CA. She specializes in comparative theology, interreligious dialogue, Asian/Asian American theology, and Hindu-Christian Studies, with a focus on gender, race, and liberation. A mixed Japanese-German American Catholic background full of saints and ancestors, a Midwest upbringing, and an abiding love of science fiction/fantasy/horror make her particularly interested to examine the relationship between other and Other in her Catholic theological work.
