Biography
Vishal is a risk consulting executive with over 21 years of experience in areas of enterprise risk advisory, information security, privacy, IT risk management, project risk management and regulatory compliance services. In his current role as Technology Risk Partner with Deloitte, Vishal serves some of Deloitte's largest client assisting them with aligning their business goals and strategies with their risk profile and helping design and implement strategies, roadmap and solutions to achieve a “Risk intelligent” posture around governance, risk management and compliance. Vishal is a global executive and has led engagements for number of Fortune 100 clients in US, Europe, India and Australia.
Vishal recently led development of Deloitte's risk advisory (Enterprise Risk Services) offshore capability build out in India. In this role Vishal was responsible for overall practice leadership, P&L management, leadership development and service delivery.
Prior to these leadership roles, Vishal consulted in media, telecommunication and banking sectors implementing IT risk management solution, enterprise risk management programs, enterprise privacy program, identity and access management solution implementation, role based access, encryption, PKI implementation, messaging infrastructure, network and infrastructure security solutions.
Vishal has been a guest speaker at various professional and national/international industrial groups like SANSFIRE (SANS), Secure World Expo, FDIC IT Examiners Conference, DSCI (Data Security Council of India), Delhi and Interop, Mumbai 2010. Some of the recent topics have been - How to create risk Intelligent organization, Implementing enterprise privacy framework and information security strategies.
