Biography

Wenlin Liu is an associate professor of public relations in the College of Journalism and Communications. Wenlin conducts research on multiethnic community building, organization-public relationships and social media-mediated disaster communication. She has led several projects examining how public sector organizations use social media to manage multiethnic community relations during natural disasters. Her recent work examines the use of GenAI technologies in government-public disaster communication and its role in building trust and boosting organization-public relationships.
