Biography

William Skelley is an innovational financial professional skilled in raising capital and alternative investments. As an entrepreneur, William established iFunding and leads the firm as its chairman and chief executive officer. The New York-based investment company operates an Internet social platform that permits investors to direct capital toward prime real estate opportunities. William Skelley's responsibilities as CEO include attending to strategic planning and building strong relationships with partners and developers.

In 2012, William coined the term “accredited crowdfunding,” which defines the concept of allowing accredited investors to pool funds in order to afford large-scale projects. Putting this mechanism to work in the real estate industry, William Skelley has enabled smaller investors to become involved in large, prime real estate investments. His investment firm, iFunding, offers an online social platform that streamlines the accreditation and crowdfunding process. Mr. Skelley currently oversees iFunding’s operations as the firm’s chairman and chief executive officer. Prior to establishing iFunding, he founded and managed Pallas Global, a firm that provides money to real estate developers in New York City.

William Skelley graduated from Hobart College with his bachelor’s degree and completed the Owner/President Management program at Harvard Business School. He is fluent in both English and Spanish. Early in his professional career, he served as an executive intern to Mitt Romney at Bain Capital. He also previously gained diverse business experience as a consultant for GE Healthcare.
