Biography
Yanyan Luo earned her Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California, Irvine. Her academic interests include macroeconomics and economic growth, monetary and fiscal policy, economic development, and political economy. She brings eight years of experience teaching undergraduates, including two years as the sole instructor of courses in a liberal arts setting with a diverse student body. Her teaching philosophy centers on creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment in which all students feel supported. She strives to serve as a resource and guide, helping each student build confidence, develop practical skills, and reach their fullest potential.
