Biography
Marine Biologist by training, I spent 10 years working in Environmental Planning in Federal and State Government Departments before starting my first home business in 2003.
I quickly discovered that Marketing was the core skill required to grow a profitable business but also the most expensive part. I turned to the internet to get my marketing messages out to the maximum amount of people for the lowest cost.
As an 'early adopter' of this technology it wasn't long before other companies were seeking me out to structure, manage and train their teams. This led to me creating a social media training program and community website, http://www.SocialMediaShortCut.com , which now has clients from around the world.
My expertise in internet and social media marketing was recognised when I was selected to attend the "10 for 10" internet marketing training intensive in New York in 2010. I regularly retun to America to engage in social media and internet marketing training and awards programs.
I am a regular contributor and speaker on topics related to social media marketing and building a business online, with an emphasis on teaching and empowering entrepreneurs to embrace new technology for maximum growth with the minimum time investment.
I now operate multiple businesses from my laptop while travelling the world offering regular webinars to global audiences of top internet marketers and entrepreneurs, for savvy business owners wanting to learn how to get started on, and ride the social media wave.
