Founded in 1911, LMU is a Catholic, Jesuit, and Marymount university with more than 7,100 undergraduate students and more than 3,000 graduate and law students. Jo Ann Mendelson is a professional actor, Fight Director, Stage Combat Instructor and Acting Teacher. She completed her B.A. at LMU in Theatre Arts in 2008 and an M.F.A. in Performance for Television, Film and Theatre at Cal State LA in 2018. She currently serves as the Member Representative for Dueling Arts International, an international organization dedicated to training in the field of Stage Combat.
