Founded in 1911, LMU is a Catholic, Jesuit, and Marymount university with more than 7,100 undergraduate students and more than 3,000 graduate and law students. Founded UPstage theatre company, staging works by Samuel Beckett and Alfred Jarry. Toured public schools throughout Washington State performing with The Commedians

Directed thesis production of Buried Child by Sam Shepard, The Love of Don Perlimplin and Belisa in the Garden by Federico Garcia Lorca, The Dumb Waiter by Harold Pinter, and Cabin 12 by John Bishop. For Cal Arts in Town, directed The Laundry by David Guerdon at the Morgan Wixson Theatre, Santa Monica.

Screen Actors Guild

Sean has been teaching acting at Loyola Marymount University for over twenty years. 

A member of the Screen Actors Guild, Sean appeared in The Old Man on FX, Barry Levinson’s Wag the Dog, the Coen Brothers’ Intolerable Cruelty, numerous national television commercials, as well as corporate and industrial films. 

He worked in casting for over 20 years, directing and recording thousands of professional actors' auditions. 

He directed new plays by emerging writers, including Deborah Rogin, Gary Jacobelly and Ross Maclean. He co-authored, co-produced and co-directed Who’s Afraid of Uta Hagen? at The Haunted Studios. He co-authored and directed Fun City!, based on Kurt Weill and Bertolt Brecht’s The Rise and Fall of the City of Mahagonny for Al's National Theatre in a downtown parking lot, extending the musical run onto an indoor stage. He produced and directed the world premiere of Brian Burrell’s Emmett Till, at Al’s Bar downtown, toured the show with the original cast to Fort Mason Theatre in San Francisco, and back to Los Angeles for an extended run at Theatre/Theater. 

He also directed training films for workers in the automotive and health care industry.
