Biography

Joshua Moon is a chemical engineering research faculty member at UF. His research aims to tackle grand challenges in clean water and energy production using innovative materials designed for membranes and adsorbents coupled with a fundamental understanding of molecular transport in polymers. The Moon Lab is researching new materials for energy-efficient carbon capture, direct air capture of CO2, hydrogen and hydrocarbon purification, fuel cells, water treatment, and remediation of PFAS "forever chemicals."
