Meet Guardian Angel Spirit. Just two months old, Spirit and his mom, Mary just arrived at Best Friends. When Spirit was born, it was obvious right away that something was wrong with his legs. As he grows, his legs won't be able to support his weight and so he has come to Best Friends seeking treatment. Now staff are working against the clock to figure out just how they can help little Spirit.

Dexter the cat is 20 years old, underweight, and a bit rough around the edges from a combination of age and poor nutrition.
