Top destinations for 2018 March Break travellers

Sun is in the forecast for many Ontarians heading south next week to enjoy some family fun over March Break.

CAA South Central Ontario (CAA SCO) has found that the top three driving destinations of choice for members this March Break are:

1. Orlando, Florida 2. Myrtle Beach, South Carolina 3. Ontario – various city-centre locations such as Ottawa and Toronto

“The Southern United States continues to be a popular destination among Ontario travellers,” said Kaitlynn Furse, manager of public relations at CAA SCO. “Family-friendly spots like Florida and South Carolina top the list of March Break destinations, while some travellers are choosing to stay closer to home.”

CAA SCO has prepared over 3,500 TripTiks for members planning road trips this March Break. Vancouver, British Columbia and New York City are also top destinations for the break. TripTiks outline routes for travellers detailing highway exits, rest stops, lodging and construction projects.
