Bitcoin has been around for almost a decade. Cryptocurrency was once used to order pizzas and was perceived as an alternative to cash. Fast-forward to 2018 and cryptocurrency is fast becoming a billion-dollar market. It’s getting the attention of investors and has started to be seen as the future of currency.

But it is not without its risks? Today, Bitcoin is trading around USD$7,000 per unit. In January it was sitting closer to $14K.
