MEDIA RELEASE: CAA Insurance to provide 10 per cent rate reduction for home insurance policies in Manitoba

Thornhill, ON, May 7, 2020 - CAA Insurance Company announced today that it will

be offering a 10 per cent rate reduction for home insurance policyholders. This rate

reduction is available now in Manitoba and is valid for the duration of the insureds

policy term.

Every company is taking a different approach during the COVID-19 pandemic, and it’s important to use this time to shop around to make sure you find the best savings.” 

The 10 per cent rate reduction is aimed specifically at lowering premiums during the

COVID-19 pandemic. It is being applied automatically on all new policies retroactively as of April 15, 2020, and on renewal policies after June 15, 2020. It will be applied for your full policy term and will be available until the pandemic is over. If your policy renews before June 15, 2020, please contact your broker or agent to apply the 10 per cent reduction for the remainder of your policy term.
