This donation will continue to help bridge the distance between home and hospital for Canadians in need.

CAA Club Group of Companies President and CEO Jay Woo made a cheque presentation of $200,000 to Hope Air on Wednesday, November 30, 2022. The donation was fundraised through CAA's 12th annual charity golf tournament in September. More than 300 people participated in the Associate volunteer run tourney.

"Having grown up in poverty, I know all too well the difficulties that people face especially when they live in remote areas and are unable to access medical care," said Jay Woo CEO of CAA Club Group of Companies. "Our Associates strongly believe in the work that Hope Air does. Today's donation reflects their hard work and the generosity of our participants."

Golf committee members and several CCG senior leaders also participated in the presentation at the Hope Air offices in downtown Toronto.

"I have seen firsthand that Driven by Good is not just a catchphrase that CAA uses; it's actually at the heart of what you guys do. And it is exemplified by your support of Hope Air and the work that allows us to help Canadians who need it most," said Mark Rubinstein, CEO of Hope Air.

CCG's support for Hope Air began when Jay began flying patients from northern Ontario into Toronto for medical treatment during his evenings and weekends. From that moment, Jay's entire team at CCG rallied behind him to support this life-saving purpose that is Hope Air.
