Biography

Dr. Elizabeth (Liz) Hardy's rich experience in clinical psychology is an asset to the Fielding Board of Trustees in evaluating our plans for new offerings in psychology. She is an experienced clinician. Her work history includes treatment of seriously mentally ill people, homeless individuals, and victims of domestic violence. She is also an adjunct associate professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Wright State University.

Dr. Hardy graduated from Fielding's Clinical Psychology program in 2011. She served with distinction as a Student Member of the Board of Trustees from 2005 to 2007. She also currently serves on the Board of an organization that deals with the needs of seriously mentally ill people; and she previously served on the Board of an organization dealing with victims of domestic violence.

Additionally, since graduation, Dr. Hardy has continued to be interested in higher education and the challenges facing educational institutions. She and her spouse, Rick Omlor, are significant contributors to Fielding. Liz also has extensive connections in the Midwest, particularly the Dayton, Ohio area, and is willing to help Fielding connect with people in her network.
