Biography
Gonzalo Garcia received a B.Sc. EE with a major in radar design from Chilean Naval Polytechnic Academy, Valparaiso, Chile, in 1994, the M.Sc. EE with a major in automatic control from Federico Santa Maria Technical University, Valparaiso, Chile, in 2006, and the Ph.D. AE from the University of Kansas, Lawrence, KS, in 2013. He is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow with the College of Engineering at Virginia Commonwealth University. His research and teaching interests include the design of advanced control systems for unmanned vehicles, robust control, nonlinear control, optimal control, and predictive control.
