Biography
Ivo is currently the Munich Team Leader as well as the Arts & Culture Desk Editor for Fair Observer.
A researcher of the research unit Language, Interpretation and Philosophy (LIF) at the Institute of Philosophical Studies of the University of Coimbra, Portugal, Ivo Oliveira is finishing his PhD in Philosophy at the New University of Lisbon.
His research focuses mainly on Edmund Husserl's Phenomenology of Time Consciousness and its dialogue with Kant's theories. After earning his Master’s degree in Philosophy from the New University of Lisbon, he was an invited researcher in the Husserl-Archiv at the Albert-Ludwigs-University in Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany.
He has won several scholarships within the framework of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and both his papers and lectures have been published in prestigious philosophy journals. Oliveira speaks Portuguese, English, German, Spanish, and French. Lately his passion for Physics has grown intensively and it will be the subject matter of his Post-doc studies.
