Biography
Nicholas Parry, M.S., is an assistant professor of cyber operations at Cedarville University and deputy director of the university's Center for the Advancement of Cybersecurity. He joined Cedarville's faculty in 2022 after 14 years as a software engineer in the cybersecurity industry.
Parry's professional focus includes secure cyber systems for the Department of Defense and other government agencies, as well as commercial tools for vulnerability management and endpoint protection. His industry experience includes work with Northrop Grumman Xetron, Tenable Network Security and CrowdStrike.
At Cedarville, Parry teaches courses related to computer science, cyber forensics and cyber operations. He also supports the university's cybersecurity education and student competition programs, including serving as a faculty coach for Cedarville's National Cyber League team.
Parry earned a bachelor's degree in computer engineering from Cedarville University in 2008 and a master's degree in computer engineering from the University of Southern California in 2013.
