Shannon Yarosz, Pharm.D.

Shannon Yarosz, Pharm.D., M.S., M.C.R., is an assistant professor of pharmacy practice at Cedarville University. She teaches pharmacy students and brings professional experience in pediatrics, community pharmacy practice and clinical health care services to her academic work.

Her areas of expertise include pediatric pharmacy, epilepsy and seizure management, asthma medication delivery, medication safety and patient education. Her scholarship has examined antiepileptic drugs in patients with liver disease and pharmacy-led services designed to improve medication access and education after emergency department visits.

Dr. Yarosz earned a Doctor of Pharmacy degree, a Master of Science in translational pharmacology, a Master of Clinical Research degree and a Bachelor of Science in microbiology from The Ohio State University. She also completed a PGY-1 Community Care Pharmacy Practice Residency at The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy and earned a teaching certificate.

At Cedarville, she combines pharmacy education, clinical experience and research to help future pharmacists provide clear, patient-centered guidance on medication use and safety. She also contributes practical medication and health education through Cedarville University's Ask the Pharmacist series.
