Biography
During his law enforcement career, Meacham served as a New York State trooper, criminal investigator and senior investigator with the New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation. He also served as a hostage and crisis negotiator and as an instructor at the New York State Police Academy.
At Cedarville, Meacham teaches criminal justice courses that connect investigative principles with practical law enforcement experience. His instruction has included analysis of real cold cases and training in evidence collection, evidence preservation, interviewing and the application of law.
Before joining Cedarville University, Meacham taught criminal justice at SUNY Adirondack. He holds a Master of Arts in Criminal Justice from the State University of New York at Albany, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the State University of New York at Albany, an Associate of Applied Science in Criminal Justice from Mohawk Valley Community College, and training from the New York State Police Academy.
