Biography

Pramod Abichandani teaches courses on drones, robotics and embedded systems and directs labs on Advanced Air Mobility and Robotics and Data. He's also an entrepreneur, having founded LocoRobo to stimulate interest in STEM among K-12 students. His research centers around optimal, multi-dimensional, data-driven decision-making, using techniques from mathematical programming, linear and nonlinear systems theory, statistics and machine learning. That research has been supported by the likes of the National Science Foundation, National Institute of Health, U.S. Army, U.S. Air Force and Office of Naval Research.
