Villanova University was founded in 1842 by the Order of Saint Augustine. Noelle Comolli, PhD, is a Professor of Chemical and Biological Engineering and Director of the Polymeric Biomaterials Laboratory at Villanova College of Engineering. Her research has included nanoparticles for axonal guidance after spinal cord injury, thin film delivery of anti-inflammatory agents, development of novel microparticles for tumor targeting and nanoparticles for inhaled drug delivery.
